Eric, played by Nathan Bronson, becomes increasingly attracted to his free-spirited housemate Sylvie, portrayed by Laney Grey, who remains oblivious to his feelings. Sylvie, who prefers women, excitedly informs Eric about her girlfriend Marian's upcoming visit while casually disrobing to do laundry, heightening Eric's frustration. After Eric accidentally witnesses Sylvie and Marian in a compromising position, his irritation grows. When Sylvie playfully compliments Eric on his physique days later, he struggles to hide his resentment. Returning home early one day, he overhears Sylvie engaged in intimate relations again, only to discover she's cheating on Marian with another woman, Paula (Leana Lovings). Sylvie urges Eric to keep her affair a secret, but he refuses, frustrated by her actions. He declares his intention to move out and tell Marian. In a bid to salvage their friendship, Sylvie suggests they resolve their issues through intimacy, and Eric agrees, insisting that Paula be included in their encounter.
